Here we have a fairly hard to find Hamilton 16 size, 17 jewel, pendant set, open face, 974, Union Special that would be a great gift or very nice carrying watch. The single sunk porcelain dial is in EXCELLENT condition with black Arabic numbers, red 5 minute markers, and signed in script “Hamilton”. The ¾ nickel movement looks really sharp and is marked in gold lettering “Adjusted, 17 Jewels, Union Special, Hamilton Watch Co. Lancaster, Pa.”  It is also beautifully damaskeened. It comes mounted in a Keystone, J-Boss, triple hinged, gold-filled case that scrolled initials on the back. The back cover needs just a little adjusting but not by me. A great conversation piece!!
